My offer

I accompany people in challenging relationship situations — whether as a couple or individually. Two topics come up especially often in my work: relationship issues and ADHD in adulthood.
Couples therapy
In couples therapy, I support you in reshaping your relationship in a positive way and resolving conflicts constructively. I help you develop a deeper understanding of each other, overcome hurts, and rebuild trust and closeness.
Frequent and escalating arguments
Emotional distance or a lack of connection
Difficulties talking about feelings and needs
Jealousy, fear of loss, or affairs
Different expectations regarding closeness, autonomy, or support
Communication problems and everyday misunderstandings
My approach:
I primarily work with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a well-established method that addresses the emotional core needs of both partners. I also integrate methods from systemic counseling and other psychological approaches — depending on what is most helpful in your situation. It’s important to me that both of you feel understood and safe. I support you in gradually experiencing your relationship as stabilizing and strengthening again.

ADHD in adulthood
Many adults have lived for years with inner restlessness, overwhelm, intense feelings, or a chaotic daily life — without realizing that ADHD might be behind it. ADHD in adulthood is still frequently overlooked or misunderstood. It affects not only concentration or organization, but also self-esteem, emotional regulation, and relationships.
My ADHD counseling includes in particular:
Education and orientation for initial questions about ADHD
Screening-based assessment of whether further diagnostic evaluation could be useful
Guidance on the path to diagnosis, including support in finding suitable specialists
Reflection on one’s life history in the light of possible ADHD symptoms
Tips and impulses regarding typical challenges such as sensory sensitivity, impulsivity, relationship dynamics, or self-organization
Advice related to medication — I do not provide medical assessments, but I’m happy to help you understand pros and cons and prepare for a conversation with specialist physicians
It’s important to me to include not only the perspective of the person affected by ADHD, but also that of their partner — because the strain usually affects both and shapes the entire relationship dynamic.
My approach:
I do not offer medical diagnostics, but psychological counseling that helps you understand yourself better and move through life with greater clarity. Many of my clients are right at the beginning — with a suspicion, uncertainty, or the wish to finally make sense of their experience. My stance is: ADHD is more than a deficit — it influences how a person thinks, feels, organizes themselves, and relates to others. I support you in finding your own way of dealing with it.

Sessions and fees
Sessions take place online — flexible, location-independent, and confidential. Whether you come to me as a couple or individually is up to you. Some clients prefer a combination — for example, first reflecting on partnership topics with an ADHD background in individual sessions and later discussing them together. That is also possible.
